Thanks for your interest in our affiliate program.

Unlike other affiliate programs you might have signed up for, we do not run ours on a "The More, The Merrier" model.  We prefer to have a smaller number of motivated affiliates who actively promote John's products and services.

Here is where we are coming from -

The "quality" of your list is the most important element here.  Based on many years of experience, we know that if a new buyer does not understand the need for long sales copy and/or John's marketing philosophies and strategies, they will not be a happy customer.  We have to spend time "educating" them on the basics of direct response advertising and classic salesmanship... and, in the end, we still get a higher refund rate.

So it's critical that the people on your list of prospects are "hip" to the ways top marketers use long copy and classic salesmanship.  This is why we do not deal with "business opportunity" markets, or lists filled with non-business owners who have only a vague idea of how ads and salesmanship work to bring in profit.

Also... in our limited experience running an affiliate program, we have found that some partners just do not generate enough sales to make the affiliation worthwhile to either party.

So... we are looking for affiliates who have one or both of these two things -

  • a website or sites visited by thousands of folks who have some degree of understanding of the money making power of sales copy, or

  • a contact list rich with the same sort of folks.

If this profile doesn't fit your current situation, then your business model and our current products will not make a good match right now.

We are also looking for affiliates who want to get to work, today, on selling our stuff.  And who have the resources in place to make us both some serious cash.

And we want to support those affiliates in any way we can.

Before you go, please jump down to the bottom of page and leave me your contact information.  We will be rolling out lower priced, more mass-market products in the next few months.  And when we do, we would like to get back in touch with you and see if you are still interested in promoting our products.  There will be a much lower barrier to entry then.  And we won't stop you from selling the higher priced products.  Right now, we're just focusing our efforts on affiliates who are ready to sell more of the bigger ticket items right away.

Be sure to put "Affiliate Program Application" in the subject line.  If you don't, there is a good chance your email will end up the trash or spam filter.

Tell me who you are and what you bring to the table.  Sell yourself, your website(s), and your list.  This is not the time to be modest.

Be specific.  Who are your customers?  What do you know they buy?  How many unique website visits per day?  How many names on your contact list?

And if I were to yell down the hall, "John, do you know YourNameHere?", and John is likely to yell back something like, "Heck, Yeah!  We should be working with him/her.", please include the connection in the email.
